A little about me
Hi, I'm Matt.
Weddings have been my full-time thing for almost twenty years now (yes, I started very young, lol). They're still what I love shooting most. I've picked up a few other kinds of work along the way, but on your wedding day, this is home for me.
I'm laid-back by nature, but I'm also paying attention every single second. I'm watching the light, the little moments, the in-between glances, so you don't have to think about any of it. My editing style is true-to-color: real skin tones, real light, no heavy filters. I want your photos to look like your wedding, not like a trend.
How I Work
Easygoing when it matters. Hands‑on when it counts.
I'm not the photographer barking orders all day, but I'm also not going to let your family portraits turn into chaos. Here's the balance I aim for.
A calm, comforting presence
Almost every review I get mentions the same thing: people feel comfortable around me. I keep things relaxed and low-pressure so you can enjoy your day instead of performing for a camera.
As much direction as you need
I won't pose your entire day, but when it's time for portraits, group shots, and family photos, I get hands-on. Clear guidance, quick setups, and a keen eye for making everyone look their best.
Always working, never in the way
I'm constantly scanning for the next composition, the better angle, the light about to change, always with your best interest in mind, so nothing slows your day down.
My Style
Documentary heart. Editorial eye.
Most of the day, I'm shooting documentary-style: candid, unscripted, a little imperfect, exactly as it happened. Then for portraits, I bring an editorial eye: intentional light, clean composition, and images that feel timeless. Every photo stays true-to-color: real skin tones, real light, nothing over-processed or trend-chasing.
