Kristen & Dan’s wedding at Normandy Farm… I really don’t know where to begin attempting to describe it. A few weeks ago I was talking to Kristen and she said “I think Dan and I should photograph well together- we like to have fun.” She was right. They photograph perfectly together, and oh my do they like to have fun. This was by far the craziest reception we’ve ever seen. There were people getting picked up, thrown down, jumping, sliding- and the song “Macho Man” will never be the same again. It was a huge party and it was awesome.
Most of the time when we shoot a wedding, we show up at the bride’s house and photograph the dress, shoes, hair, makeup, etc. Friday was a little bit different. I met with Kristen at the hospital so she could see her father, who was not able to attend. Some moments in life truly are special- and this was one of them. It was a true honor to capture.
