From the very beginning, Eleanor and Dennis had one goal: they wanted to actually enjoy their wedding day. They weren't interested in spending a huge chunk of it posing for photos or feeling like they were constantly being pulled away from the celebration. They wanted to be with their family and friends, soak everything in, and spend the night out on the dance floor, and that's exactly what they did!
They exchanged vows in the beautiful garden at Hotel Du Village before celebrating with everyone they love. We kept portraits relaxed and efficient so they could get back to the party, but when the sun started to dip lower in the evening, we snuck outside for a few quiet sunset portraits (and really, to cool off from all the dancing). Those few minutes gave us some of my favorite images from the day before they headed right back inside to dance the night away. It was such a fun reminder that you don't need to spend an hour taking portraits to come away with beautiful, meaningful photographs.
